AIWaysion exhibited at the inaugural MIDTRANS 2026 conference on September 2, 2026, hosted by the KU Transportation Center at the University of Kansas at the KU Memorial Union in Lawrence, Kansas.

At the exhibit, the AIWaysion team showcased how its edge AI and computer vision platform is helping build safer, smarter transportation systems, with a focus on multimodal traffic monitoring, trajectory and near-miss analysis, and real-time safety applications for roadway agencies.

MIDTRANS 2026 brought together transportation researchers, practitioners, and agency partners from across the Midwest, giving AIWaysion an opportunity to connect with the region's growing community of transportation innovators and discuss how edge AI can support safer roads throughout the Midwest and beyond.

AIWaysion thanks the KU Transportation Center and the University of Kansas, along with organizers Shi'an Wang, Alexandra Kondyli, Steven Schrock, and Donna Doel, for putting together a successful inaugural event.
