AIWaysion Expands to Alaska to Advance Roundabout Safety

AIWaysion recently deployed its MUST (Mobile Unit for Sensing Traffic) edge AI platform in Anchorage, Alaska as part of a collaborative traffic safety initiative with the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities and the University of Alaska Anchorage. By collecting real-time data on vehicle and pedestrian movements—including speeds, trajectories, yielding behavior, and near-miss events—the project will help evaluate and improve roundabout safety while supporting smarter, data-driven transportation infrastructure.
