🎉 We're incredibly honored to be featured on the homepage of the University of Washington (https://lnkd.in/gdK4VUp)! A huge thank you to UW for drafting the story and spotlighting our project.
🔍 Spoiler alert on what's actively developing: Following the pilot project highlighted in the UW article, AIWaysion has been working with Yakama Nation on a U.S. Department of Transportation SMART Stage 1 project focused on a 20-mile stretch of US 97 from Union Gap to Toppenish—especially targeting critical intersections where the freeway meets local roads.
Here's what we're doing: 🚦 Collaborating with Washington State Department of Transportation to deploy our Edge AI MUST devices across the corridor to monitor real-time traffic and roadway conditions. 🚨 Collecting critical safety insights and deploying roadside warning systems. 🧠 Supporting Yakama Nation DNR Engineering in developing its first virtual Traffic Management Center (TMC). 📊 Working with the UWStarLab to build a digital twin of the corridor.
Our shared goal is to increase #visibility and enhance #safety for everyone traveling along this vital corridor. Stay tuned—exciting progress is coming this summer!
