This award recognizes our collaborative work deploying our Mobile Unit for Sensing Traffic (MUST) device for Yakama Nation. The MUST device was deployed at the Larue Rd. & U.S. 97 intersection in Toppenish, Washington - the deadliest intersections in the state. The project was a collaboration with Yakama Nation Department of Natural Resources, Yakama Nation, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), UW Star Lab, PacTrans Region 10 University Transportation Center, and NW Tribal Technical Assistance Program (NW TTAP) Center.
